However, if you’re looking to create a more unique and personalized look for your characters, VP Online allows you to change their clothes by customizing the textures. This feature lets you go beyond the pre-made options and design outfits that perfectly fit the theme and mood of your animation.
Exploring Texture Options in VP Online #
VP Online provides a rich collection of textures to enhance your characters’ outfits, including wool, leather, patterns, camouflage, and more. These textures can be scaled and rotated to fit your design needs. If you are aiming for a fully-customized look, you can even upload your own patterns directly into the editor. This level of customization empowers you to create clothing that truly stands out, whether you are designing a formal costume or a branded uniform for a corporate animation.
Changing the clothes for your 3D character #
Select the Character, click the Change Texture button on the top left of the editor.
The character’s costume is divided into parts, each marked with different colors. Select the specific parts you want to modify. You can select multiple parts at once if you want to apply the same pattern to unify their look.
Browse through the available textures and pick one that suits your needs. Scale and rotation of the texture are also customizable, allows you to find the best clothes’ pattern for your characters.
If you are unsure which texture to use, try the “Randomize” option to explore different styles quickly.
If you have a custom pattern or brand logo, use the “Upload” button to add your texture to the character’s outfit.
Note: Not all character styles in VP Online support texture changes. The “Change Texture” button will only be available for compatible characters.
